But when these feelings become overwhelming, cause physical symptoms, and last for long periods of time, they can keep you from leading a normal active life. A disorder in which a person has difficulty recovering after witnessing or experiencing a terrifying event. The condition may last months or years with triggers that can bring back memories of the trauma accompanied by intense emotional and physical reactions. Symptoms may include nightmares or unwanted memories, avoidance of situations that bring back memories of the trauma anxiety or depressed mood. These symptoms cause clinically important distress or impaired work, social or personal functioning, insomnia or anger outbursts.
A mood disorder is a pattern of illness due to an abnormal mood. Nearly every client who has a mood disorder experiences depression at some time. Most mood disorder clients will have one or more of these four types of episodes.
· Major Depression Episode. For at least two weeks, the patient feels depressed(or cannot enjoy life) and has problems with eating and sleeping, guilt feelings, loss of energy, trouble concentrating, and thoughts about death
· Maniac Episode. For at least one week, the client feels elated or sometimes only irritable and maybe grandiose, talkative, hyperactive, and distractible. Bad judgment leads to marked social or work impairment.
· Mixed Episode. In this case, the client has fulfilled the symptomatic criteria for both Maniac and a Major Depressive Episode, but it has lasted as briefly as a week.
· Hypomanic Episode. This is much like a Maniac Episode, but is briefer and is less severe.
Comprise of arguments, communication, growing apart, infidelity, traumas, appreciation, sex, and money.

Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) is a form of psychotherapy or counseling. It is also referred to as Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. This form of therapy focuses on solutions to problems or issues, and discovering the resources and strengths a person has, rather than focusing on the problem like more traditional talking therapies do.
Trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy is an evidence-based psychotherapy or counselling that aims at addressing the needs of children and adolescents with post traumatic stress disorder and other difficulties related to traumatic life events.
Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) is a cognitive behavioral treatment that was originally developed to treat chronically suicidal individuals diagnosed with borderline personality disorder (BPD) and it is now recognized as the gold standard psychological treatment for this population.
Culturally sensitive therapy emphasizes the therapist's understanding of a client’s background, ethnicity, and belief system. Therapists can incorporate cultural sensitivity into their work to accommodate and respect differences in opinions, values, and attitudes of various cultures and different types of people.
